The team runs on roughly $40,000 a year, and 100% of every donation goes directly to FIRST® Team 79 Krunch — fully funded by student dues, corporate sponsorship, grants, and individual gifts like yours.
Where it goes
What your support makes possible
The team is currently in need of support in the following areas.
Financial needs
- Tools, machines, parts and accessories for robot build
- Marketing, promotional items, printing, travel, meals, and apparel
- Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, first-aid kits)
- Consumables (paper towels, cleaning supplies, soap, hand sanitizer)
- Replacement of the team trailer for transporting robots to competitions
Industry volunteers
- Mentors with mechanical, design, electrical, and software engineering experience
- Volunteers with business, marketing, graphic design, social media, fundraising, grant writing, community outreach, photography, and videography skills
